Arabic is my native language. I build bilingual sites where the Arabic version is laid out right-to-left properly — not English with translated words.
Many websites treat Arabic as an afterthought: the text is translated, but the layout still runs left to right, arrows point the wrong way and the fonts don't match. Arabic readers notice immediately.
Adasa, an Arabic photography blog, was built right-to-left from the start — and this portfolio switches between English and Arabic on every page, landing you on the same page in the other language.
