Service — API Integration & Dashboards

API Integration & Dashboards

Your data is only useful if people can read it. I connect interfaces to REST APIs and turn the responses into dashboards that are clear, quick and reliable.

Calling an API is the easy part. The real work is everything around it: what the screen shows while it waits, what happens when the request fails, how several sources come together on one page, and how the data is laid out so it's understood at a glance.

Wanderlust combines five public APIs — countries, holidays, weather, exchange rates and sun times — in one travel dashboard. Cosmos pulls NASA imagery, rocket launches and planet data into another.

What an integration includes

Every data source is treated as something that can be slow, empty or down.

  • Clean data-fetching code organised in one service layer.
  • Loading indicators, empty states and helpful error messages.
  • Data shaped into cards, tables, timelines and stats.
  • Selections and saved items remembered between visits where useful.
  • Responsive dashboards with sidebar navigation on desktop and mobile.

How we work together

It starts with a short message about what you need. I reply with questions, a clear plan and a realistic timeline. While I build, you follow progress on a live preview link you can open on any device — and at the end you get the code, the live site and a walkthrough.

What you get

  • Interfaces connected to your REST APIs
  • Loading, empty and error states for every request
  • A responsive dashboard layout
  • Clean, documented data-fetching code
  • Deployment with a live link

Questions

Can you work with our private company API?

Yes. Share the API documentation (Postman collections are ideal) and test credentials, and I'll build the interface against it.

What happens if the API is slow or fails?

The interface stays usable: it shows a loading state while waiting and a clear message — with a way to retry — when something goes wrong, instead of a blank screen.

Next Step

Have an idea worth building?

Let's turn it into an interface people remember — fast, responsive and built to last.
